ACTIVE DIRECTORY TRANSFER

Hay Guys!!!
I have a server with windows server 2003 operating system. Currently it is running Active directory with 700 users and 200 workstations.
I have a new server with windows server 2008 oparating system.
Now i need to transfer all my AD users and WrkStaions to my new server.
If you have any idea how to to it, Please help me up!
That will be a great pleasure to me.

hmmm make windows server 2008 as a DC and after all copied demote the windows 2003 server to a normal server. to make wndows 2008 as a dc type dcpromo and make it a DC after all copied (which will happen automatically) then use the same code to demote the windows 2003 server.

You can Install new server as BDC & synchronize users from DC (Win 2003) & promote the BDC as DC

If you can show me the demonstrations please........coz have a doubt with the compatibility of 2008 and 2003 backups!!!
are they match with each other?
