yep... Toyota vios is the replacement Car for the TOYOTA SOLUNA .not that bad. As i know we are (SL people ) getting the Malaysian or the Thailand Product of the Vios .

A swift would be like (a used one) 1.6 to 1.8 Mln.... But an alto is affordable within ur range!! superb in fuel comsumption.. does more than swift!
why Alto ?? if you can reach the 1.5 M margin you can go for a Swift or for a Chevrolet Cruze (2002-2003) . you can find Swift's for 1.4 M but the very first products in swift even without Power windows.
i searched internet but cant find a reason why corrolla axio 141 is having a low mileage per liter.

if u want looks..aloto is a bad option.my opinion is cars are all about looks.if u consider only km per leter then aloto is good.
thats why i baught a Nissan march k12.now i am selling it coz i dont want hatchback types now..
if you are not much interesting on the YOM Toyota Corolla 110 is the best. a durable car.
or for 1.6 M you can easily find a Swift .
if you like a sporty car with performance Honda Civic EK 3 is there . but the Fuel consumption it not good than the above 2 . but not Bad..
if you have some kind of a permit ( a car permit ) a Toyota Corolla 121 will only cost around 1.1 M - 1.4 M . dont know whether you are lucky inuf to have that type of a permit

Indian stuff are Crap, the fuel consumption is depend on how you drive and the Engine condition of the vehicle, there aint a thing called exact fuel figures, some might get low as 9 and some might get around 13

ya a swift can do 15km/l . and its like this my friend , deference between two models are the Engine and the suspension unit . the Japanese version is good in fuel caz it comes with a VVT engine . but the indian version coms with a engine which belongs to maruti India . a second hand japanies Swift will cost aroun 2.2 M - 2.6 M . a second hand Indian swift cost around 1.7 M .

as i said before the problem is local market only have the the 1.6 Engine 141 . As people say it should be at lease a 1.8 engine to pull that weight .but corolla also have version call Toyota corolla 141 Altis with a 2 L dual VVT-i engine . in srilanka you can fiend 141 Axio's with 1.6 engines .
