you need to clean it at least once a month, otherwise ull face fungus and worm problems.( i manage to make some worms inside the cooler )

you need to hv a good ventilation in to the room since cooler makes more humidity in the air.

Does it cool the room?

We can insert ice cubes into the cooler and then it does cool the room. But it's not comfortable as A/C. Because humidity inside the room get increased. My advice is it's better to go for a A/C. This is not a substitute for A/C.

And the noise will become annoying too.
