Extreme weather claims first victim

Colombo (News1st) – The extreme weather being experienced across the country has claimed it’s first casualty.

According to the Police, a youth died yesterday in Theldeniya when a tree crashed onto his motorbike due to strong winds. The deceased has been identified as a 29-year-old resident of Doraliyadda, Kandy.

The remains of the victim are currently lying at the Theldeniya hospital.
