so ur best option is creative inspire 5.1 or 7.1 ..dont go for SBS ..i got my 7.1 4,6 years ago and still gives damn quality sound..no issues..i dont know y these guys dont like it..altec lancing gives a plastic sound when in high pitch..

I also believe this opinion after some research on the net (especially when it comes to selecting the best computer speaker brand). But the problem is Altec website doesn't show two many (new) models to select from. And, the ones they have listed looks low-end models, at least from the outlook. Now where are those high-end Altec sound systems? Do you have any links, model names bro?
