Sri Lankan Tamils in Canada averted an attempted LTTE propaganda event that was scheduled to be held at University of Oshawa (Durham College), Toronto on Tuesday (Nov 18).
According to informed sources in Toronto, the Tamil Students Association of the College was the main organizer of the event, scheduled from 3-7 PM at the college premises.
"This student organization is under the strict influence of top LTTE terrorists in Canada. They have misled the College authorities that the scheduled event was a cultural show", our sources said.
