Here is an interesting thing....

Can anyone tell me what O.D.C stands for???:oo::oo:

That like in ODC seats in a filmhall....

    No idea!

    But there is no concept like ODC, Balcony in foreign theaters I know. All tickets price the same. May be this is the system in India.

    What we have in SL are designed to stage drama style. So this can be some thing in drama halls. Please post an answer if anybody know the meaning.

    This is fun.....Thanks all for the funny posts... but really how on earth did this acronym get in there....ODC..????

    I guess it's just one of those unanswered facts..just hope no kid will ask this from his/her Dad/Mum...!!!

    OKAY...one of my freinds found the answer...Apprenty the actual word is "Dress Circle"

    Since there are no "High End" auditoriums in Sri Lanka (eg : Royal Albert Hall), there is no specific dress code. Hence we follow an "Open Dress" policy.

    So the word had come in to usage as "Open Dress Circle" - O.D.C.

    So there we are...BTW this info is thanks to my good friend Channa D.
