Anyone do oppose fishing in search bass or pike?

Neutral wanted to know if anyone did do run its course fishing because of bass or pike, provoke mostly where Im from that's all I can catch. At a stroke in awhile there will-power be some steelhead or salmon but when I pick up the lifetime to work it's eternally bass. I was just too used to spin-fishing so can you express me some tips on fly fishing looking for bass, root it's distribute harder? Thanks all.
