Apple confirms it now uses Google Cloud for iCloud services

Apple සමාගම විසින් ගිය මස ඔවුන්ගේ නවතම IOS Security guide එකෙහි ටිකක් පුදුම හිතෙන විදියේ කරුනක් හෙලිකරලා තියෙනවා. ඒ අනුව Apple සමාගම officialy ප්‍රකාශ කරලා තියෙනවා ඔවුන්ගේ සියලුම icloud services වලට මේ වනවිට ඔවුන් බාවිතා කරන්නේ Google සමාගමේ public cloud platform එක බව. මෙය මීට පෙර 2016 දී CNBC විසින් හදුනාගෙන තිබුනත් මෙතෙක් කල් මේ පිලිබදව Apple සමාගම විසින් ප්‍රකාශයක් කර තිබුනේ නම් නැහැ. ඉතින් මෙහි පුදුමයට හේතුවන කාරනාව වන්නේ Apple සමාගමේ ප්‍රදානතම ප්‍රතිවාදියාත් අන් කව්රුවත් නොව Google සමාගම වීමයි.

Apple සමාගම විසින් මේ සදහා මීට පෙර භාවිතා කර තිබෙන්නේ Amazon web services විසින් ලබාදෙන remote data storage systems සහ Microsoft Azure ය. Apple සමාගම විසින් මෙම නව icloud service එක හදුන්වනු ලබන්නේ ඔවුන්ගේම වචන වලින් මෙසේය,

“The encrypted chunks of the file are stored, without any user-identifying information, using third-party storage services, such as [Amazon] S3 and Google Cloud Platform.”

කෙසේ වූවත් Apple සමාගම විසින් ඔවුන්ගේ icloud services සදහා Google cloud services වලට switch වූ දවසක් නම් සදහන් කර නැහැ.

Not sure. 40% of internet bandwidth is occupied by google network, They have there own fibre network to connect all data centers together.
