There are lots of shared stuff between the two cores in Core 2 architecture. It's not that much in Pentium D. For example, when the L2 cache size is stated, in Core 2 it's 2MB or 4MB but in Pentium D it's 1MMBx2 or 2MBx2. See?

U have to install Vista in IDE mode first. Then it's just a registry mod.

I used machan.. Ubuntu 7.04... It was really really cool that at one point I thought that I will never come back.. But I had some issues that made me think "$$$ paid for microsoft for windows is worthwhile" + we use it at no cost ne...

If you use microsoft (let's think of a huge thing like NASA) you have to depend on a single company (microsoft) and under any circumstances if it gets closed (which is so unlike)... then you can't upgrade or fix bugs... U c... But if its open source ny one (who has the ability) can come to develope...
