i know from experience it is a very secure site than other web hosting companies.
cos it got SSL 256 RC4 and Rijndael model mix heavy encryption in hand. only site i ever seen this in MS and USA defense

what i am saying is they have a hand on this incident. i mean some one inside must have a hand on this 4 sure .

If you need a hosted web site you need two things basically

1. Domain name (if .lk domain our Moratuwa campus has the authority to give a domain name)

2. we parking (web hosting)

so that records we got pointed that army;lk hosted in godaddy.com , godaddy .com is a web hosting company in USA . it is a top 10 best web holsters in the world

put this in google search "web hosting" and see the first result that google give .

Godaddy offer some Security features with their hosting plan, but It's not 100%. If some one want to secure more GoDaddy have many Security options but we have to buy those as a extra

All forces sites were hosted on SLT servers. If army.lk is now on godaddy, then they've changed it after it got hacked.
This may also explain why SLT ADSL users still cant access the site. Their DNS servers still havent got updated.
As for that stuff about SSL, is worthless as neither army.lk nor EK is using it.

incidentally, army.lk is on IP : 222.165.133.215 which is owned by SLT.

Yeah basically that. but they are also changed the MX records from the SLT servers
but RC4 and Rijndael not easy to crack machan
so defiantly not SQL injection or XSS

Yeah IP was supplied by Moratuwa campus. but hosted in godaddy machan.
basically they didn't by pass the DNS cos Dr Gihan dias was the .lk registry admin.
so they had to hack the godaddy. as srilankans we should proud of Mr Gihan dias .

i think they now moved hosting to SLT . but under constructions.
