Yeah Ur right cos guy. Its in SLT IDC . Go daddy page was removed. The important thing in web hosting , most important when it comes to nations security including a military database and web site, It must be hosted inside the country. They got it wrong from the beginning. Its a disgrace to a country. Anyway security is 0 in most gov sites and companies. Godaddy offers the cheapest. But not the best. Military sites has to have a sign in procedure. With SSL most of the sign secured certs with verisign. However, those security risks or holes are there coz of the lack of best practices. Hope they have an ISA now. With a DMZ and 2 serial firewalls. Doesn't matter how strong you get the algorithm support, you have to utilize it perfectly. There are many ways to hack. Common things are using SQL injection and/or a backdoor. If there are loosely secured packet filters as before and allowing direct downloads as soon as clicked its easy to crack it. This is not the way that a military website to be organized.
The phps must be configured properly including the server apache or what ever to utilize the 256bit encryption. But all encryptions can be decrypted near to 128 bits at the moment. Even MD5 is not secure as a hash. Anyone can use the strongest possible algo's like Ron Rivest(RSA), strongest algo is SGC true 128 bit offered with verisign...hahes like sha-256 with SSL unbreakable.(At the moment.)
Still you need to secure the servers NOT ONLY THE PAGES
, Auditing, log dervers blah blah... That's what they don't do. And godaddy can't offer those. Even e-commerce sites like WU is under threat so we need best practices, with the least possible resources!!!
