yeah i remember that its first one came out i think in 1992/3 like.

I can't actually remember the year, but I had my old Pentium 166MHz based PC come with that game. Even for those days, it was not very nice. Doom2 --> Doom3 is a huge leap. It could be compared to NFS1 --> NFSMW leap, if it was not done in intermediate steps.

Disable soft shadows. This has a large performance impact on the gameplay.

sorry i didnt see this.Thing is when we insert a scratched cd in to this it will halt too.ut still u can view sum from PDVD.

Well, don't put a scratched CD, DVD into the drive then :rolleyes:

I don't buy retail discs anymore. I only buy blank DVDs, and also which are of high quality. I don't give them to my friends, because they are the ones who damage them. I'm don't have such a need from a player anymore.
