It's cos they know they can't be in power for at least 2 decades .So if they want to do something they have to do b4 the war ending

If Mr. Rajapakshe Ends the war and beginning to develop the country Ranil and his team has no chance even in hell . so they are afraid of it

But they never take a look in wanni that
