You should have created a poll.

Anyway, I vote for automatic, because it's easy and safe. (you don't want to confused the clutch and the brakes in a dangerous situation, do you?) I'm not very familiarized in manual transmission. Sure it gives the maximum please, but in Sri Lankan road, please.....

U mean Semi-automatic?

Well there are semi automatic guns but haven't heard them on cars.....

Automanual (called triptronic by some manufacturers) is an Automatic transmission. But when you need to you can shift the gears manually (like a clutchless manual trasmission)

Semi-automatic transmission, or also known as clutchless manual transmission, automated manual transmission or paddle shift gearbox is a system which uses electronic sensors, processors and actuators to do gear shifts on the command of the driver.

    I'm good buddy.... thanx!

Yeah I think its a good breakthrough for the industry...

Cuz if you have a vehicle that your whole family uses.... like a SUV, chances are different family members prefer different transmission right? So I guess this addresses the issue!!!

And it help if you are living in the city when you get caught up in traffic but still would love to have the control when the road opens up.

Now about others driving.... I don't let anyone else drive my car since it has an Adaptive Driving Computer. Don't want her to learn any bad habits

Well guys there's another variation to the automatic introduced by Nissan called CVT or continuously Variable Transmission. Which has two expanding pivots instead of gear wheels. The net result is continuous smooth accelaration without the jerking between shifts. stuff
