eya kiyanne machan mage karume nisa mehema une kiyala, barclays eka sadaraneekaranaya karanna hadana eka,

now i have nothing to do with that deal machan, all i wanted was to inform others about what they have done with my VGA. kemathi kenekta wiswasa karanna puluwan. mama illasitinne ne ehema karanna kiyala.

online shopping karana eka thama sl wala 100% sure karanna be neda machan. newegg doesnt ship to sl. right?

there are few sellers in amazon.com and they are selling their stuff internationally..

and the next thing is the ebay.

since the VGA was available in sl, i wanted to buy it from there instead of taking an extra risk. but never knew that the warranty they are providing could become such a big headache
anyway machan there are ways that you can get goods from newegg or amazon ;) ;) i got that laptop from newegg :D :D... and i would say it's 100% sure if u really know from who to buy :) :).... well i nrmly buy from amazon stores and newegg stores ;) that's da best way :)

Dude.. Sri Lanka is like that. And the knwoloedge about it in SL is very poor. So the companies take it as as advantage and send the faulty things to Sri Lanka while they send high quality stuff to Europe and US. So as a precaution it is always better to buy things from a reputed place. But I do not know whether there is a such place in SL...

    i bought 2 512mb rams for abt 200yuans
after 1week or 2 it gives some problems
i cant even watch a movie
after some testing i found dat 1 ram was nt working well
then i went to the shop and told what happened
then they checked it with memtest
    bt no problems reprorted
then i said replace it with a same kind of ram
they said that they dont have that brand anymore
so i asked them can u change it if i give u money
    they said ok
at that time 1gb also reduces the prize
i told them to OK REPLACE IT WITH 2 !GB STICKS
    they had no problems
    also returned 40yuans back:lol:
It seems chinese shop owners are much aware of technology   :D

Dude , i have never faced such mess with barclays. Once i bought a motherboard from their store. After 2 years i accidentally killed it when trying to update the BIOS. I still had 1 year left with the warranty. I went to their store. told them that the MOBO was not working. They took the MOBO from me. After 3 days they gave me a call and said that ASUS is no longer manifacturing that MOBO.

They gave me two Options ...

    1. Give me a new MOBO for the same value which i payed 2 years ago (Rs.44000)
    2. Give me a Full refund.

I chosed the second option. And it was a very very fair deal. Thats the Reason im recommending Barclays to any of my friends. Barclays have never broke my trust.

These things really piss me off, If I were you I would really have punched on his face, :frown: The small shop you are referring is that on the small lane in front of MC right ? and on the left side on that lane ?

    an advice : Don't buy High End stuff from Unity plaza shops, If you really need them EPSI is the place for you (prices are high though). That's the place for warranties. believe me ;

i bought a mother board frm epsi , it was an asus [commando]
within 2 weeks the board was not working, no display..
then i went their & tell them bla, bla, they told me it will take 3 weeks to replace,
then i shout like mad.. & they gave me a asus p5wdhdeluxe, wifi board..
after 2- 3 months i took adsl connection , plug the rj45... fuc** borth network ports r not working,so i went their & tell bla ,bla..
they gave me a replacemant board, p5wdh deluxe wifi,
so i came home , after 6-7 months, i got a wireless router & try to connect to the router, through wifi..
fuc** there was no wifi chip... but the antena was there..
now i have to plug the antena in to my a**
so i call epsi technicle .. girl answer the phone,, so i told bla bla
    then the girl says,
:oo: :oo: sir ehema wenna widihak nane...by the way her name was samanthi..

Is your motherboard the ASUS P5W DH Delux caused I have been using the same model for some time now.(I also got it from EPSI)
I had no issues with the WIFI in fact I have now networked it to my laptop to share the internet connection between by desktop and laptop.
Machan the problem you have is most likely drive related.I had some issues with the drivers given with the board. Then I downloaded the drivers from the realtek site.(It is the realtek WIFI chip that is on the board) and without using the asus client I created the network manually from the network and sharing center(I am using Vista by the way) and it works without any issues.:D

 your power supply sucks & i think their power supply also sucks
    [the shop guys]

i think they have tested it with a 350>400w power supply...

do you really think that you would test their product using a 350W PSU and refund me after that??

they did their best to give it back to me, they tested it with their mobo, ram, cpu, PSU (Asus 750W) and their HDD. and also using their 15 inch monitors with super low resolution of 1024 x 768.:lol: i play in a 22" monitor with 1680x1050 resolution.

and I have a FSP 700W PSU. it should be able to run two EAH4870 in crossfire

and i should thank you machan, you helped me a lot when i was stuck in this problem.
