Avoid buying from Barclays!

Sorry for bumping up an old thread. It could be due to inadequate power supply, faulty drivers. No. 1 suspect is the power supply. Will have to spend around 8000 for a good PSU if you wanna run such a card with its power.

I would like to know the model of your power supply(which you used by that time), just for my knowledge.

I have been dealing with barclays. But I had to give my ass to number of people to get the refund, if giving your ass in exchange for a customer care service is what you call a good service, ok then

machan, some people in EK are trying to promote certain shops while putting all the blame on other places. I'm not doing that. The unity is like a pc black market, all the places are the same machan. No difference. All are different store fronts for the same store. All those "Kaslim muris" are the same.

i bought kingston 4gb pendrive frm them, after some time i found that its not working properly, but it was past the warrany period!!
i hate barclays, i never recommend that place to anyone.

Same problem with a stupid UPS Prolink that I bought about 3 years back.
The UPS was working well untill its plugged in to AC. But the when the power is gone the output voltage is fluctuating from 80v upto 400v.

I complained and went to them with a multimeter and showed the problem myself. They had no idea what I am talking about and after about two days I went back as they took it in for repair.
After about two days I went to pick and the UPS was still having the same problem.

I was furious as they were trying to make me go home with it. ! After arguing for a lot of time I asked them to compare it with another one to be sold which was working nicely.

Here comes the best part !!! Then they took apart the circuit board of another UPS which was there for repair and swapped it with mine. Somehow I RE assembled a UPS in-front of them with various parts and got mine working. They are going to give my faulty UPS circuit board to another customer definitely !

Just be careful when you buy..

by the way the brand of the ups is Pro Link. I still regret about the incident
