10 yrs old. need entry level racket.
At the age of 10+ and with a height of the child around 115 cm or above go for an adult sized racket. The general rule of the thumb for kids is that he/she should be able to stand with their arms stretched out with the racket down one side, not touching the floor (or just touching is still fine)
A full sized racket gives better coverage and he can get used to playing with it.
Go for a 80g-85g head light or balanced racquet with a grip size of G6 or G7.
PS: I have been playing badminton since school till now. My son started playing using my rackets at the age of 9 yrs. He was tall enough by then. I still play and he also plays, obvoiusly not with us anymore. None of our players can cope up with his skill, agility or the smashing power.
