A senior police officer who tried to get a ransom of Rs. 7.5 million from a sawmill owner by using the name of Minister Basil Rajapaksa has been arrested.
Minister Rajapaksa requested people to be vigilant of such racketeers who try to use his and his family members’ names for such sinister gains.
