මං කලිං කීවා වගේ, BCS වල තියන වාසිය ඉක්මන විතරයි. degree එකක demand එක BCS HEQ වලට නෑ. හැබැයි, සමාන පිළිගැනීමක් තියනවා UK සහ Sri Lanka දෙකේදිම.
Sri Lanka Government University හැම එකකටම ජාත්යන්තර පිළිගැනීම තියනවා.

ඒ වුනාට 2010 ප්රශ්ණයක් ඒ විදියටම 2014 ඇවිත් තියනවනෙ. මං පෙරේදා past paper බලනකොට දැක්කෙ.

ජාත්යන්තර මට්ටමේදී degree එකක අන්තර්ගතය අනුව තමා පිළිගැනීම වෙනස් වෙන්නෙ. නමුත්, ගොඩක් වෙලාවට එකම university එකේ degree වලට එකම මට්ටමේ පිළිගැනීමක් ලැබෙන්නෙ.
Bachelor Of Information Systems (IS)
UCSC admits students for two internal degree programmes in the field of Computer Science (CS) and Information Systems (IS). These two degree programmes are formulated to focus on two different market segments in the IT industry.
The IS Programme previously called Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is designed to produce a new kind of IT professional to fill the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The IS degree Programme is designed to produce this new breed of IT professionals referred to as Business Analysts. Business Analyst is someone who interprets business rules and requirements for technical systems. The curriculum of this programme also emphasizes the importance of soft skills such as communication and teamwork.
Students entering the IS stream will obtain a 3 year Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSc IS) or a 4 year Bachelor of Science Honours in Information Systems (BSc (Hons) in IS).
80 students will be admitted to the IS stream of which 20 would be chosen for the BSc (Hons) in IS at the end of year 2 based on their performance and preference.

This degree programme is offerred only as an external degree programme. It is open to anyone seaking for diploma or degree in Information Technology. Entry qualifications: GCE (A/L) 3 passes or pass the FIT examination conducted by the UCSC.
Taking into consideration the job opportunities that exist for ICT graduates in Sri Lanka & overseas, the UCSC (formerly Institute of Computer Technology) took the initiative to launch this External Degree (BIT) programme leading to the award of Degree of Bachelor of Information Technology (External) – BIT.
The UCSC having the most advanced training resources and experience in Sri Lanka in the field of ICT training conducts the Degree of Bachelor of Information Technology (External) programme. The UCSC conducts examinations leading to the first-ever External Degree in IT in Sri Lanka. The University of Colombo will award the degree.
