This is about your false test results
first let me explain about HSPA. There are 2 technologies currently using here in Srilanks, HSDPA and HSUPA. HSDAPA's maximum uplink speed is 384kbps, therefore to reach more than that you have to use HSUPA. Currently Dialog is not offering HSUPA, it's only HSDPA(Airtel also). But Mobitel offers HSUPA, with it u can reach upto 1.9mbps uplink speed.

ok lets get into the topic, about your test result.It's upload speed shows near 700kbps, how come that happen?
1. speedtest has failed, some sort of a problem with speedtest.net or
2. simply it's not a result of Dialog HSPA(as you are an employee at Dialog, it may be taken from inside network or of from another connection )

even Dialog has published the upload speed as 384kbps. So I'm wondering about your test results.

Those are not unwanted arguments ne... You can't answer our questions, That's why you skip from here. Blog is a personal one as most of internet users have it. But you made this thread to discuss about HSPA. After that you btried to insult Airtel. we all know dialog employees hate Airtel (We know what's the target from you)

enisa HSPA wala thiyena eka IP eke details okkoma gattaheki. podddak kawuru hari results page ekata gihnin balannako. mama airtel HSPA wala beluwa.

I am ex-dialog HSDPA user and now with airtel. As my main concern is unlimited downloads airtel suits me. I threw away my dialog connection because of the FUP shit, and no point of paying 3000+ for a useless 5GB connection. Airtel gives good stable speed of about 1 - 1.5Mbps as shownby DU meter but not so with browsing. So for those who need high quality browsing Mobitel is a better choice. Dialog is not suitable for both downloading (due to FUP shit) or for high quality browsing (due to poor unstable speed in areas with large number of users)!

Although there are rumours saying that dialog has removed the FUP there is no any official information regarding that in their web site or any other reliable source. Can someone tell me from where you got that?
