it depends because any service prvider cant give the accurate speed that they promise.But over all M3(Mobitel) has done a good job so far... i am telling this out of expirence..

I heard that Dialog Broadband is coming up with a High speed connection, so we
are waiting for it.

i was using dialog and it was ok with the speed. but dialog's FOP sucks and dialog gets disconnect automatically sometimes. Now i am using AIRTEL and its a bit slow when u downloading and surfing.but for torrent its giving a great speed.AIRTEL never ever gets disconnected and its unlimited too.but when i buy AIRTEL itself they told me that it will be a bit slow due to some network problem.that also only for unlimited package.

they provide 7.2 mb/s service but we only getting this, mostly little bit more than this today it's little bit slow anyway they say that their currently using indian ISP and they will get one for sri lanka soon , after that all the customers can obtain that speed , i don't know but they say like that
