u can't overclock the q6600 easily past 3GHz on the stock cooler.
but you can do 3.6GHz easily with E8400 with stock cooling.

at that speed, it will still be a little slower than a stock q6600 in premiere, but only premiere. in every other respect, it will faster.

go with the q6600 if you want, but don't go with the 9400gt!!!

alrite....i will hav 2 satisfy with 9400GT.i will upgrd 2 sapphire 4850 when my relativ cms from UK...she agreed 4 a ATI last nite...it will be arnd aprils...what do u say now?

so ur telin that still games lyk duos more than primary quads??
does 2.4Ghz means 4 of2.4 ghz cores?? im confused...in duos they display as 2 CPUs with the gven clock speed
