    why u choose it?

    LGA775 Intel® Core™2 Processor Ready
This motherboard supports the latest Intel® Core™2 processors in LGA775 package. It also can support Intel® next generation 45nm Multi-Core CPU. With new Intel® Core™ microarchitecture technology and 1333 / 1066 / 800 MHz FSB, Intel® Core™2 processor is one of the most powerful and energy efficient CPU in the world.

    PCIe 2.0
    Double Speed; Double Bandwidth
This motherboard supports the latest PCIe 2.0 devices for double speed and bandwidth which enhances system performance.

    NVIDIA SLI™ Technology
NVIDIA SLI™ (Scalable Link Interface) takes advantage of the increased bandwidth of the PCI Express bus architecture and features intelligent hardware and software that allows two GPUs to efficiently work together to deliver earth-shattering, scalable performance. For some applications nearly 2X performance! (From www.NVIDIA.com)

    Dual-Channel DDR2-800
DDR2 is the next generation memory technology to replace the current DDR. With the highest speed up to 800MHz,DDR2 memory provides great performance for 3D graphics and other memory demanding applications.

    Fanless Design
Provide a cool environment without all the baggage
Cooling fans, though a popular thermal solution, also come with noise and malfunction likelyhood. ASUS Motherboard´s fansless concept is specifically created to provide a cool environment without all the baggage.

ASUS has devoted special efforts to address the thermal issues across the motherboard, and most notably the areas that reside the CPU, power, VGA, and chipsets. The heat sinks were tailor made to dissipate heat in the most efficient manner.

    Q-Fan 2
Adjusts both CPU fan and chassis fan speeds according to system loading
ASUS Q-Fan2 technology intelligently adjusts both CPU fan and chassis fan speeds according to system loading to ensure quiet, cool and efficient operation.

Optional Fan (for Water-Cooling or Passive-Cooling only)
    Maximize Water-Cooling or Passive-Cooling performance!
The optional fan is specifically designed to provide sufficient airflow over the chipset area and CPU power modules when water-cooling or passive-cooling is utilized, ensuring effective heat dissipation for the entire system.

Uses 100% All High-quality Conductive Polymer Capacitors!
This motherboard uses all high-quality conductive polymer capacitors onboard for durability, improved lifespan, and enhanced thermal capacity.

yes i also check about the foxconn m/b, but u see that u have a nvidia VGA and u may need to add anther so, with the asus M/B you can do that very well. And Asus EPU will reduce the amount of power use of the computer as well as supporting the CPU to goto full load from idle with out a lack of power.

about cooling, if you over clock get a good quality cpu cooler.

Brother if it is for gaming then you have an unbalanced configuration.
core 2 quad with 4gb ddr2 800 is a good choice if the vga is at least 9600gt.
if you have only single vga then g31 also support quad and it is only Rs5750.You need to have 2 vgas to use the full capability of foxconn mars since it has 2 pcie slots for crossfire or SLI

Foxconn mars doesnt support for SLI bro!:lol: Go for P5ND because Asus has excelent features like precision tweaker and great for overclocking! and PCIE 2.0 slots! if you got a VGA like 9600GT 9800GT or more Foxconn mars cant get full perfomance because low speed of data transfer bus in PCIE 1.1 !!! Go for ASUS P5ND

sorry my mistake i mentioned SLI.
But machan show me single benchmark where PCIE 2 gives you a considerable performance increase over PCIE1.1 for a card like 9600gt .
Simply because these cards does not have enough gaming power.

    machan,
    this is my brother's machine..
I WILL NEVER HOOK 2 VGAs TO THIS MACHINE

i just want performance and tweaking, specially good heat controlling.
mokadda me PCIe 1.1 and 2.0 kathawa??
i cant go for anything else higher than 9400GT.

    PCIe 1.1 = 16x
    PCIe 2.0 = two times 16x

so if u setup a SLI Config the 2 PCIe slots will work at 16x.

if you not using dual vgas then g31 is enough, coz you are using 2 gb ram.
g31 is so cheap and you can use 4gb in it. and you can overclock also.nobody wants to over clock 2.4 quad over 3.5 ghz mark right?.I just gave you options that all brother.:cool::cool:
