Notepad++ is good so far, at least for me but I still like the sublime text since it has a better UI but I don't think it has good features as much as NotePad++ has.

use notepad++. What are you going to code? If its php/html stuff and notepad++ is not enough, netbeans has a version for PHP/HTML
