Mercenaries2 is not a RPG.
Its a third person Shooter line max payn.
Hit man,Splinter sell these are Stealth Action genre.
Tomb raider,Prince of Persia is Platform adventure.
Yeah Gothic and Oblivion these two are RPGs.
In order to called a RPG ,game should have character developments,like Strength,wisdom,will,Spell forces powers,Stealth so on.
It should not always be a third person game ,
Exception is elder srolles oblivion ,can be played default by first person prospective.

I m so into RPG... It s like an addiction. The problem is i dnt have any good games atm.. As for my rankings,
1. Mass Effect 1 - 2 is due in 2009 dec and i cant wait
2. Fallout 3 - Well it should be #1 but mass effect has such a good story line with ehmm a scene they have sex too, so couldnt stop myself
3. Dues Ex - played back in 2000 or so but man it s real good. If it had cool graphics like mass effect then i cant imagine.. Btw back in the day dues ex had "future" graphics engine for sure. Those who have played would surely know.
If u guys know of very good games like above , RPGs ofcause let me know.

It s a game u SHOULD play.. Thats the only way to describe it. U have total freedom over the missions of ur choosing, still how ever u play u cannot stop the ending to come.. DO NOT google the ending before u play the game caz it will kill the fun. But it s a great story nevertheless.
There are:
1. skills (max 100 points)- like lockpicking, science (hacking), medicine, repair, melee, small weapons, big weapons, energy weapons, sneak, speech.. All important. When u r a baby u have 16 of all skills. remember the max is 100. So as u go one level up u get 20 skill points to spend or if u choose another perk (see below) u can get 23 points to spend. Those can be allocated in any skills u want. Also u can get points by reading special kind of books. 1 point or 2 (if u choose a perk).
2. special abilities (max 10) - when u r a baby u have 5 points for each ability. Abilities are : intellegence, strength , stamina, luck, perception and something i cant remember. . when u r a baby u rerady a book and u get 6 points to allocate on ur abilities of the above of ur choosing. also later u can get 1 point by selecting intesnse training perk (there are 10 levels of that). So u can get another 10 points to spend on special abilities.
3. perks - after each level u can choose one perk and it gives special things or special something or as i mensioned above some improvements to the body of the person or skills or some strange things which would help u. U should choose them wisely. At the end game time i was almost unbeatable to any gang of enemies with the skills and better use of the perks and abilities. So remember to make the best use of it.
U WILL RUN OUT OF LEVELS BEFORE U END THE GAME. That is u finish the game with lots of perks to be taken. So take the very best of u like.
As for snaps i ll post some soon, i rarely post abt a game, but since i enjoyed this very much i wanted to let u guys know abt the game( those who dnt know).

Still i could not give a proper start to fallout 3 game.I played the first part.You are born like a baby and grow up ...so on.
Reason i could not give it a start is i started playing the witcher.
hope to play it soon.

Ok fist i should say sorry for Gothic 3 fans IF THERE ARE ANY.. I tried downloaded the game and used the patch 1.12 i think and i think it sucks due to following things.
1. Graphics - i ll give 6/10. It has great detail in unnecessary things but have poor quality in important things. Like people do not walk!!! They slide instead. Some walk and most of them slide. And it sucks. Then the end lines of the maps are having stupid effects like trees in the sky and white background and stuff and it s poor looking. And also in some places trees and grass grow 1 feet above the ground. Mind that i have ATI 4850 vga with latest driver update, 4 gig ram and 3.8 ghz dual core so no it has nothing to do with my pc.
2. Lots of unsorted out BUGS!!!! damn i hate them.. Things like there is a book shelf and a person is standing infront of the shelf where u can read a book. when u try to read u get stuck and cant do anything there after. And lots of things like that that make u restart the game.
3. Plot and past effects do NOT taken into effect, well not that much. I ll give 7.5/10 for PLOT.
4. Opponents are too weak when u think about people. Like i can kill 100 orcs fighting alone. But i cant fight more than 2 wolves at once. ow stupid is that???
After playing mass efeect and fallout 3, when i play this game i feel like i am married to a fat ugly tasteless women after sleeping with many pretty sexy gals. It s like 4.5/10 according to my point of view where mass efffect or fallot out 3 would get following ratings.
Mass effect:
Graphics : 9.7/10
Plot : 10/10
Bug free : 9/10 (yes mass effect has minor issues)
overall : 9.45
Fallout 3:
Graphics : 9.5/10
Plot : 9.5/10
Bug free : 9.5/10 (yes mass effect has minor issues)
overall : 9.5
Where as in Gothic 3:
Graphics : 6/10
Plot : 7.5/10
Bug free : 4/10 (yes mass effect has minor issues)
overall : 5.75
Like i mentioned it s patch 1.12 where as they have 1.60 too now. But issues like graphics wont be washed away by a pacth (most of the time). My 2 cents.
