Bios config. 4 IDE HDD

Hi guys im using intel 945gnt mother bord......with a sata HDD. I have one IDE HDD but my motherbord does not detect that drive... i checked it with a nother pc & it works fine. but on my motherbord with sata drive or without it IDE HDD is not detecting...but IDE DVD/RW works fine

is there any thing i can do??? please help.

Do you have OS Installed on SATA yet? OR you want to install OS on ATA and use SATA as SLAVE? Which OS you will install, the procedure will depend on all!

check the jumpers.. make one "primary" and other "slave" (hdd and dvd/rw)... if not make both "cable select" and plug the data cable..

hey da prblm bcuz some Hdd wont detected automaticly to several mother boardz so u wanna do iz to manually change da hard drive setting to from IDE to sata or sata to IDE as which kind hdd ur gonna add so it ill work or if not then da problem may be in jumperz and try ur hdd connect by changing da jumperz to several pinz
