According to it.. When some one travel faster than light, his mass increases to the infinity. To travel a object with infinite mass, needs infinite energy..

According to the energy theories, there is no infinite energy in the universe..

That is why we can't travel faster than the light and can not go to the past or future..

Time slows down at the event horizon of a black hole.. there are plenty of SF short stories written based on this concept..

even Nolan's Interstella.. Remember our protagonists stumble on a crashed ship in a planet near the black hole? It was later found out that the ship had been destroyed by the wave just a few minutes ago in the planet. But the guy actually left earth years before them. the time had slowed down in the planet because it was closer to the event horizon of the black hole.. What was actually years in earth was just a few minutes in the planet

They proved that some particles travel faster than light some years back.. its not new news..its old news actually

Einstein theory of relativity deals more with large bodies & space.. the FTL travel happens more with sub atomic particles..

That's what the Quantum Theory is for.. Eistein did not agree with this theory.. but after finding FTL travel of sub stomic particles, it was proven that Eistein was wrong
