    is it good to buy a used BMW X1 below 6M (>50000KM) 2012-2013 ?
really helpful if someone can give few ideas on its pros and cons ? I have really fallen for its look specially its much smaller and Cheaper in its own series than X3 and X5

smaller and fewer features, driven friends one few kms, have to use super diesel for smooth run... no difference in cost then
    good vehicle for value
driving a vehicle with prestige logo always make you more comfortable

    Thank

Appreciate the response, I prefer buying a German made than going for a Japanese or Korean made but but my spending power is not much as a BMW User, do you think the running repairs would cost me huge sum of $$ ? or would that be at a reasonable rate. from my own experience I know the parts will last long much more than Japanese and Korean ones

If you can't spend for maintenance don't buy. Parts will last long time than japanese all blah blah.

X1 has cheap interior feel, cheap looking than many Japanese crossovers. SL permit imported ones are so basic models.
Ride quality is not that good.

Turbo diesel engine is economical and powerful. But don't expect it to last like jap engines.

Thanks, its a fair quote that buying it if I can't afford the maintenance however I feel to have this ride as the feel when you drive with BMW logo can't be felt in other brand (*no offense :) but thanks I have A3 also in my mind but its smaller than X1"

One of my friends has it. I didnt like it. Its small and not comfortable at all. Its just a BMW. Don't have a luxury feeling. Less gas mileage I guess. Try Infinity or Lexus.

True... Parts do tend to last much longer than the same of its Japanese counterpart.. but when they bust off., remember its about 3 times the cost as well.

On my Opinion.. X1 is not the best option to spend 6 million of hard earned money and to get stuck with it. You do very well know that BMW and other luxury brands have a massive depreciation after being sold... and specially when it goes off the 1st owner as well.

So., unless you got money to burn or not the side chick of a cabinet minister...:) .. I suggest you look for a much more smarter option that would actually hold the value you spend in the long run.

Basic thumb rule...buy Japanese... in much better sense... why not you and your wife buy two Honda K's ... or One Honda K and a Honda Hybrid ??

Honda K for you two to bug out and enjoy and Hybrid to take kids to school and do family shit ... lol :D

when you compare jap and eu vehicle parts cost different because of jap has lot of chinese, thaiwan, recondition parts and eu vehicles always use original brand new parts, if you want to replace original jap parts cost is no more different.

6m for 5-6 years old diesel EU SUV still worth for money...
