Latest information said that minister D.M Dassanayake and another six civilians received injuries due to the explosion and they were rushed to the Ragama teaching hospital for immediate medical attention, sources added. Two of the victims are in critical condition, Ragama hospital sources said.

The bomb blast in Ja-Ela, Sri Lanka, which occurred the moments ago was reportedly aimed at Minister of Nation Building D.M. Dassanayake.
