Two persons have already been killed and 20 were injured in an explosion occurred around 3.50p.m in a public transport bus while passing the Open University of Sri Lanka Polgolla premises in kandy, Police Media Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said.
He also said that at the time of explosion, the bus is heading from Wattegama to Kandy. The injured were taken into Kandy Teaching Hospital and they are being under treatment.

According to the sources of Defence Ministry, The bus, bearing number CP HG 7503 was attacked.
