Since the "Search" tool is'nt working i couldnt find what i wanted :(

Therefore this is for the the people who actually bought the Airtel Broadband Unlimited package. I know there was a Thread named " FAQs" about airtel Broadband . But what i need to know is are you people getting the Down Link/Up link speed as expected ?

About downlink, it totally depends on your area. If lot of ppl using then it will be very slow. Normally you can get 50 ~ 300 KB/s depending on the network traffic. Average it will be around 180KB/s out of city limits.

About uplink, They say they give 1Mbps but i can't see any HSPA or HSUPA from Airtel even with a compatible modem. So the max upload speed around 47KB/s.

but this modem is not locked or branded to any network, so i can use the modem with any other network too. So no waste at all machan.

From my tests Mobitel have HSPA and HSUPA even with normal talking sims. With Dialog i can't see any HSUPA even with a Datasim. But not totally sure if they provide it or not.

You have 2Mbps SLT? Tell me your need for uplink speed?
If its for gaming or for servers then forget HSPA its has huge ping times and most of the ports blocked.
