In this world, new antibiotic invention rate is now very low. The existing antibiotics are also getting rapidly ineffective because of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria strains.
Recently I heard that the Broiler Chicken Industry is one of the largest contributor to antibiotic resistance (due to antibiotic abuse).
