    Open mind makes better Vision

    Dear Friend,

I was stubborn boy in my childhood, I didn't obedient & done so many stubborn things. If I done continuously them, I could be in a jail or could be a thug in the underworld who has done so many murders, rapes & Robberies.

I was blessed to hear for the sermons of our great person in a understandable language in simple. then I thought according to sermons his doctrine has special qualities which says in "swakkatho Bhagawatha dhammo"
I must observe them my self. Then I started to read Ven.Rerukane Chandravimala thero's books & Ven. Gnanananda thero's books & then wrote to Ven. Gnanananda Thero regarding my wishers. Then he replied me to come & stay few days in the monanastary in my school vacation & practice & observe yourself.
This was the entering to the Sasana of mine.

(Age 23) Now I feel that I am a good friend to the society & International level sportman & an Executive officer in possition. no need to say spiritual things.
I am a person who changed to the good way & I have many friends who is getting the advatage of Dhamma with mahamevnawa.

You can remind Ven. Gnananda thero was the leading person who was trying to teach sermons to us.

If you have open mind to see the truth, everyone can do that.
go & see whats happening there. There could be somthing which you can't approve but there are lots of things that you could gain from there.
Read the translation & if you are interlligent, you must have the benfit of them.
If they translate in wrong you may not have the benifit. because of you have the benifit, we have to accept that translations are correct.

Thatagatha great person shows that how become danger of the sasana.
you'll be aware of them someday.

If you have an picture, that mahamevnawa is leading to the danger. It will be a barrier to your destination & others also, with effect of long term.

As a friend , I'm requesting you to be open mind & get worth your soul with pio dhamma.

You may have pease, may interllingent to see the truth of the world !!!

    Theruwan Saranai !!

    Namo Buddhaya!
    Pinwath mithurani,

Do not get deceived by the appearance of things.
Let me explain, why I am posting against this book.

This book to my knowledge was written in vengeance; and has distorted facts about Dhamma.

I do not know if pinwath melakamc knows about Dhamma or not; or if he merely quotes from what he has understood or just read; or which intention he had when posting this book...

    - double check anything you get from this book against Dhamma...
    - we may read it genuinely to get something out of it.. but we could might endanger ourselves unless we know what we are doing... we could end up harming many others (by spreading things we don't understand properly)...

The safest thing we can do is start practicing Dhamma; and try to follow the Path... Only then we will be safe...

    Theruwan saranai!

    Dear friends,

I am stating the following just as an answer to this question; I have no intention of comparing Buddhism with Islam.

Yes, but it's different from Islam or Christianity
because the hell and heaven in our religion are realms/worlds just like ours (actually Buddhism discloses about several hell & heavenly realms).
I mean, they are all finite - for e.g. there's birth and death.

True, it is inconsistent with your religion; but consistent with our's
we believe in a Samsara - which is a succession of lives...

In Buddhism too, the hell realms are associated with essential suffering (to different extent - in different ones); and heavenly worlds with the opposite.
But, to us no world is free of suffering (because, we believe all the lives to be impermanent); the solution given in Buddhism is Nibbana - which is, in simple terms, exiting from the Samsara.

    Thanks for your curiosity. :)

    Friend Idi Amin,

Your idea to find out what Lord Buddha has taught, is really really good !.
I feel that you have the good quality of thinking independently and so... I'm happy about it. :)

If you want to read Tipitaka in Sinhala language, you will find the following link useful. (A Sinhala Translation)
    http://tipitaka.mahamevna.org

(Sinhala Unicode is needed to be installed. So get it from here)

And dear friends 'Kalyanamithra' and '2KTHUSITHA',

I'm really happy about you, seeing your great work done here !.
I think people like you are rare among the current society.

May the Triple Gem bless you all !

please i kindly request you to explain what are the things that cant be approved and what are the benifits.

And what is this means :If you have an picture, that mahamevnawa is leading to the danger. It will be a barrier to your destination & others also, with effect of long term.
