I'm planning to buy a new car and my budget is around 2.7 Million (Max).
So far I have checked the following models.

    Toyota allion 240- 2002
    Toyota 121 G grade 2005 -1500cc
    Toyota Belta 2007 - 1300cc
    Toyota yaris 2008-1300cc
    Toyota Vios 2008-1500cc
    Toyota VITZ-1000cc 2010

I'm looking for a car which have good fuel economy, comfortable, good design and reliable car which wont give me troubles (engine and transmission) in the long run as I'm planning to use this car at-least for another 5 years.
I plan to run 800km per month(500 km on highway and other 300km on colombo city limit)

So, I really appropriate help from you guys to select one model from the above for me or any others you suggest, based on above details.
Also if you can share your experiences (fuel consumption and reliability) of the above models that would be highly appreciated.

Thank you and looking forward to see your comments.

Allion 2002 is bit old now.Try to buy a 2003 k number one so the resale value will hold on for few years.

Vios new model is not that famous so better off with a yaris or a belta.
121 is too common and starting to show it's age with the pappa look. But If comfort is your priority this the one to go for.

You cannot have all in one ;)
Go for 141 if you need comfort and little bit less fuel economy
Go for Yaris/Belta for more fuel economy and less comfort

121 and allion 240 are little bit old so there can be repairs when you use for 5 years. So little bit unreliable :)

I don't want to talk about Vitz :P

I know we can't satisfy all the above needs.
So i will order my main concerns
Fuel economy >> Comfort and design >> repairs >> resale value after 5 years

If you are concerned more about fuel economy then 141 will be out ;)
If you get right car Allion 240 would be ideal choices (regarding comfort and design).

If you want more fuel economy and less comfort then belta would be the choice. Anyway all cars you mentioned are not bad so go for one you like most ;)

According to your requirements it is better that you have a newer car given that you frequently drive on highways. Belta is the best bet cuz it's relatively new. However having 1.3 engine it won't be able to climb steep slopes with load. So be aware of that.

Also check on the 2008 Vios also. I don't know much about it.

Mazda Axela is also a good option around 27 laxs but it's stiff suspension and average fuel economy may be a concern.

Overall the best option for 27 lacks according to my understanding is the corolla 141. Even with low fuel economy (7-10) it is a solid car with a comfy interior. You might have to spend a little more on 141 for fuel but you won't regret the car.
