I’m trying to track down a song I remember from the 90s that I heard when I was in school. The music is similar to the Sinhala song Danno Budunge.
The lyrics I recall went something like:
"Oh verdant isle beloved,
Oh fairest Indian dawn
......
Oh island Sri Lanka..."
This song holds a lot of nostalgic memories for me, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere.
