    So this is my requirement.

I have disc images ("ISO" images, as some n00bs might (or have) proposed ridiculous ideas :P) of few games, whcih are bigger than the standard 4700MB that a single DVDR can hold.

    The games are:
    Bioshock
    Command & Conquer Tierium Wars
    Enemy Territory Quake Wars
    Call of Duty 4
    Gears of War
    Crysis
    NFS Pro Street
    Unreal III

I want to back them up, but you know the insane prices of DVD-DL. I can't afford them - at least not for this purpose.

Any ideas as to how I should back them up? A method that doesn't require splitting up and recombining is preferred.

try to find ripped versions, for example I have crysis ripped version just 1.87 GB

    It sounds "ugly" :D

but those are easy to download easy to install, no cracking required. For example I have burned crysis and Test drive unlimited both games in single DVD. but if you try original one with crack it going to cost lots of space. probably 4 DVD's. And yet those ripped versions can be downloaded pretty faster than original 7-8 Gb versions.

Easy way is to use an external HDD. (off site backup even )

Or else Run the ISO and break them into seperate folders so it's around the max cap.

Or else better to try with a high cap disc. I'm pretty sure you'll find something for less than 250/-

as BHPN suggested.. use Alcohol.. you can easily split it to two. When you are running it again.. make sure they are in the same folder.. No (manual) combining is needed... thats it! It's the best way.. i do it all the time.. :)

    ayoo rar it men..
    i also did that..
    and you can extract them..
    without copying to hdd too..
just extract the iso to the hdd and install.
it much faster than you think because...
    its installing from hdd..
    :)
