All the short term planning of past politicians after (and including) J R Jayawardena has resulted this status. Because all presidents plan only for 6 years maximum.

People are equally responsible, by wasting state money, not paying correct taxes, huge waste incurred by Mahapola and Free education etc.

And interesting to see that Pakistan is also a failed state. SL has a much higher status than Pakistan according to this article. And again note that Sri Lanka is the 20th of the list. So only a small effort may push Sri lanka into a "Sustainable" state. And again.. Who trusts Wikipedia

On certain aspects, even US is a failed state, lets not worry over what has happened, lets help the current GOVERNMENT to bring up the country, Economy Society etc.........because, the opposition cant do anything, unless they themselves become the GOVERNMENT!!!!

In SL Context, the opposition cant do anything, since its led by a GAY asshole, who only wants power, but wont do any thing but sleeping with boys like the thread statrter!!!
