I cannot access system folders (e.g.- system volume information). I get an error message saying "Access Denied". (my login has administrative rights).

So I logged in from the 'Administrator' login. But I still cannot access system folders. i get the same error message.

Can Anyone Help

You don't need to access System Volume Information. That's why it's only give "System" level privileges. But what malkavi said is the way.

System Volume Information is where System Restore files and indexing files are kept.
