It feels like I just met you only yesterday,

and yet you're gone today.

You were the one I could go to when I was mad,

the one I could go to when I was sad,

The only one I could ever trust.

I can't believe your gone.

These past few years have just flown by,

before I met you I never thought I'd meet the right guy.

Then you came along,

and I started to write my first song.

You gave me hope.

I can't believe your gone.

Then you walked out of my life,

and it filled me with strife.

I thought that I'd never find another,

that I could be with that didn't feel like I was with my brother.

I can't believe your gone.

Now my life seems empty and useless,

and now I have nothing to do but this.

It hasen't been easy for me,

and I know that it won't ever be.

I can't believe your gone.

You were the friend that I could count on,

the friend that I could depend on.

The only friend that I could ever say this to.

Now I'll say it once again,

I don't think my heartache will ever end.
