OH, COME ON MAN, I NEVER EXPECTED THIS TYPE OF STUPID QUESTION FROM YOU.

No dear dont say like that.
In my young age most of people considered it. Now I'm a middle age man.
But see marriage proposals in paper ads, still it is a big issue.
I wanna know the idea of young generation .

I really don't believe in cast mchn...!!!!

but there is a reason for considering the cast... a one cast represents a certain social level... so the people of a one cast are used to live in their social level... so when they go to another social level, conflicts may occur..... that's the importance of the cast...

so if you marry from the same cast it is very much easy to deal with your partner because you two are from the so called same social level...!!!! but i don't know how much this is applicable to today's society... because almost all the people are mixed now... so i don't think that conflicts may occur...!!!

though i say i don't care the cast my parents also look for it when they find a girl for me.... udarata bodu govi.....:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I guess That makes Col.7 as well as Kandy still a Village. Just look at the marriage proposal columns in the papers. Unfortunately cast is still a very much a requirement.

Speaking of kandy machana that is there.
many people in candy wants that
Col 7 I do not think so machan
    there are some
every society there are people people who doesn't want to change. but majority doesn't care about that.
but considerable amount of people in villages consider that (I know that since I'm from a village)
Speaking of "marriage proposal columns " the people who puts such thing on the paper are mostly like that. the people who think free will find their bride or groom without a help of a paper since they have open mind. people who want every thing have to put up a adv for their son/daughter. that is separate case in marriage proposal columns machan. it doesn't reflect the society.
