    I should add something to this.. Hope this will important to the people who's in the networking field or trying to come to network field. You can't become a network engineer with just CISCO certifications. There are plenty of other network networking brands such as Juniper, HP, Dell etc. Also If you want to be a network engineer should study and certified on Wireless networks such as Cisco, Juniper, HP, Aruba, Ruckus. Also having certifications on Network security also essential. As an example Checkpoint, Fortigate, Juniper, Barracuda, CISCO ASA etc.

    Mainly if you want to be a network engineer you need to have a sound knowledge about Routing, Switching, Wireless Networking and Network Security. So don't stuck in to CISCO. Explore others as well. Try to certified for other brands as well.
    :yes::yes:

    Yes its true
    but CISCO certifications are very popular and well recognized all around the world. also you learn technology and how to apply that technology on cisco devices , once you have a thorough understanding of networking stuff it will be very easy to understand and learn and obtain other vendor certifications.

    with that it will be very useful if you do Microsoft , Linux certification etc..

    but like i say every time not just passing the exam and collecting certification by by-hearting some dumps and having lot of certification will not do good , unless you have a thorough understanding of the subject and having done lots of labs , to do labs you can use Cisco Packe tracer , GNS3 , VIRL , or Virtual machine environment or on real devices so today we have lot of options .

    and to get thorough understanding of CISCO related subject and labs i recommend CISLANKA Training institute at Colombo 06.

    good luck .

    To do CCNA or CCNP and to pass the exam basic maths knowledge is enough that is also binary , hexadecimal knowledge only other than that no need of maths knowledge ,

    But very important is dedication , you must give enough time to the subject,
    understand it if you don't understand it you must ask the lecturer questions and to re-explain it ( for that lecturer must know the subject very well , that's why its important to select a good place to study for that directly talk to the lecturer and see) and do labs etc..
