Right Click My computer, select properties.
If windows 7, click Change Settings under Computer name, domain....
Then on the pop up window, under the computer name tab, select Change button.
Under Member of section, click domain and enter the domain name and press OK. Enter the domain administrative credentials and press ok, restart and login using domain user credentials.
