Court told JVP got arms from LTTE

Giving evidence in a deformation case against JVP propaganda Secretary, Wimal Weerawansa, a retired Army Major General told the court today that the JVP had worked closely with the LTTE and during 1988-1989 period it got arms from the terrorist organisation through the Hambantota district.
