Due to Covid-19 bus fare was increased since they wanted to limit passengers. However, they are keen on getting more passengers as possible. This is breach of social distance practice and against the increase of bus fare rate!
After the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, corona is increasing and still route buses are careless. Except a few buses, they allow more passengers and many of them stand than sitting and maintain social distance. Colombo has lot of traffic police and it seems they don’t care!
I would appreciate if anyone takes this to higher official who can take immediate action!
As a whole community, we can fight against Covid-19 and it is the responsibility of citizens of Sri Lanka. The people who breach the law and disobey the good practice should face the punishment regardless of “any special discount”.
