පිටරට ඉඳන් 65" TV එකක් ගේනවනම් Custom Clearance Tax කොච්චර ගෙවන්න ඕනද ? මම Custom website එකේ බැලුවා...ඒත් හොයගන්න බැරි වුනා...දන්න කෙනෙක් ඉන්නවනම් sup එකක් දෙන්න..

Above this size gets taxed at a higher rate. They don't have the tax rates listed anywhere in the customs website

Thanks mchn...Do you know the tax rate for 65" tv? I heard that maximum they'll charge is around Rs. 20000.

Bro, why are you about to buy a TV? you can get more than 100" screen with a HD projector. Also the cost will be 4x lower than a 60" TV.

Actually I bought an epson projector for my home theater. It can scale screen upto 300". Also it supports active 3D and many more.

I checked with a Customs Officer at the airport. He informed that it will be taxed at a rate of 40% of the value.
