D-link GLB-802C ADSL 2+ Disconnecting !!!!

I’m using a D-link GLB-802C ADSL 2+ router for my SLT-ADSL connection, it’s always disconnecting and reconnect !!! Does anybody use this bloody router model ? do u experience the same issue ? tell me a good router model for sri lanka

Check your line got a splitter. You need to isolate voice and data from your telephone line. Also, try changing the splitter. If not go to D-Link website and upgrade the router firmware. Hope this will help you. Keep me posted how you go with this. Cheers.

if those to mentioned by dickman003 does not work try to see if the router is over heating, that can be also a cause of problem

its 100% sure router over heating.. try to keep it cool (by placing fan near router) and check if it disconnects

if it overheats, some cooling mods required..

yes it's overheating!! do you think it's the problem ?
