and cooliowiz i never knew you were considering yourself a goth lol kadimai kadimai

but then again can be goths and emos among us that don't realize that they are and thats gta be the tr00 nature of goth or whatever lol

If someone does not identify themselves as Goth or Emo, no one else should not call them so. Because there are many people out there who just follow fashion trends not knowing the meaning...

I don't want to hide. But again I don't want to show off. Well..., I like goth music and people. I color or straight my hair if I want. Dressing in black is not really cool when it is too hot out there...

I also like Betty Curse (Magan Burns). Well that is not her true name. She just pretends to be Emo and Goth. Also she is undecided weather She is Emo or Goth.

If you really know the scene, Goth and Emo are truely different things. If you are really in to Goth, you may hate some Emo's. Emo's tries to behave like Goth, but they are not. There are so many Goths who hates Emo's !

first off i dont hate emos eventhough both are equaly whiny
and i have this inkubus sukkubus album call science and nature which now explains the name atleast after your explanation.
and needless to say inspite of the origin over the years those two subcultures or whatever must have evolved from what they used to be ...

as per me goth and emo both are most likely life styles which involves only music and fashion nowadays but that doesnt mean its accurate
i know ppl that are truly goth in nature.. for me all of real goths i know have something in common ..most of them are too whiny and think they are outcasted or something and of course they like dark music and dressing in dark colors too and needless to say gothic music is depressing in nature well atleast gothic metal (inkubus sukkubus are not ..we used to call them happy gothic)
and i do know ppl that engage in such activities like wrist cutting and bleeding in order to flee the pain (as they say) so i can't just call them a fashon or music based lifestyle...
and what if the majority become gothic? would they all stay gothic or change in to something else in order to remain alternative?
trying to be different is some kinda trend too ..

and about those ancient gothic tribes ..i dont think todays goths are descendents of those ancients may be they just only rip off the term. and if you know the history of guitar based music its 70 punk bands that invented these fashons and music todays so called emo bands like mcr or p!atd are not even emo and the way of dressing along with music scene was invented by bands like the cure and alice cooper as far as im concerned and the band kiss

it's clear i see where you are trying to go but i cant agree with that

i dont know about you but as far as im concerned emo as a music sub genre means emotional hardcore/punk a punk subgenre which came around 70s or 80s and todays emo have been altered into something horrible that
not only goths hate emos but emos are being hated by everyone as i know in the music scence(even by themselves).
and that goth looks which goths also adapted from 70 artists are being used by many different sub genres of metal such as black metal or doom metal and even nu metal band members use that gothic make ups and dressing

you might have seen metalheads in general look gothic in spite of the sub genres they are interested in. so i dont think any gothic person would hate an emo for looking like a goth ..and the way of dressing has differences like emos are interested in body fit pants and etc..besides goths are no better than emos
ok i agree may be goths are less pathetic than emos only becos goth music is way better than emo.
and most of ppl that are involved in these two sub cultures as in a life style are a bunch of attention whores i guess.
