    Emo Quotes!

I hurt myself, so I can feel alive.

Sometimes if you love someone so much, it will actually hurt more.

I think I’m dying Evelyn. I can hear the vampire bats of death flapping away in my head like an insane drill of doom

two shots of hate from a mouth as loud as a gun,
like an assasin ... who does it for fun.
two deafening blows in a war that has just begun,
    life gone away...i'm done.
two red roses sitting on my coffin, the wind blows, leaving only one
the world i know disappears...like the setting sun.

    Our Love

Loves memory has traced our outline in this place.
But will the spider remember, or the sun?
Did the water capture our faces in permanence?
Does the wind create us anew as it blows?
Did the shadows from the trees record our passage beneath them?
    Our secret been revealed.
Yet I have told no other.
I write these words in silence, in mute testimony
    To what once was.
But our image remains alive in this place.
    It can not be removed.
    You, me,
    We then,
    Were here.
We saw the day and hoped for tomorrow.
We caught a brief glimpse of love's promise.
    We were not liars,
    But thieves of time.
For now time has now forgotten us,
Yet our memory lingers, and love remembers
    This place that was ours.

    Falling Away

    I am bored with love
    and it's passionless limbs
    that drape over my bed
in a lethargic state of impotence
while wearing the same red heart
    my soul picked up hitchhiking
    off highway serendipity

    Now here we are
    alone in togetherness
    trying to build dreams
with two by fours and glue,
    but even a home
    won't tie us together
    when our hearts live alone

    Poetic vows cliched
    into nothingness
    like all words do, eventually
    and we allowed
    our bodies to become
    another pair of hollow shadows
that make love to a wall
    instead of each other
    and we wonder why
    the roses are dying

    Your Lies

    Funny when things never change
Even when you say they will
But while your off s(rewing her
    My life is standing still

You tell me that you love me
    When I go to leave
You tell me I'm your only one
    And I let myself believe

I know that you are using me
But you'll never let me go
I know that you don't love me
I know I'm just for show

    I don't know If I can stand
To see you love another girl
You know that you broke my heart
You know that your my world

But while your standing by my side
    I'll believe your lies forever
    Cause everything seems so perfect
    When we are together

    Autumn Times

Autumn breeze frigidly touches ailing dreadful lives
Harshly darkness quietly surrounds the broken souls
Mellow serenades that once played between hearts
Pathetically have transformed into bitter sad songs

    Somewhere beyond the flossy clouds
Cupid has lost his romancing arrows
Plays sad sonorous tunes on his bow
Dedicated to all weepy lonely hearts

Howling chilly wind blows through the mist
Sounds of sorrow spread allover the place
Fuzzy humid air submerges the inner lust
Lives decay slowly as the autumn leaves fall...

    A Call to Mankind
From the sun-parched cliffs in the east
To the ice-clad valleys in the west
The dead souls of living men wander
Their skin has long since withered away
And their blunt nerves have frozen
The black oil in their veins boiled
And congealed to a mirthless limbo
They blindly pass the beauty of the trees
Not a single glazed eye they turn
Nor do their nostrils quiver and inhale
    The fragrance of delightful flowers

    Then scuffle over skull-paved paths
And march wilfully ignorant to thy doom!
No need have I of you or yours
May your limbs burn and your joints stiffen
Your eyes melt and your bones shatter
For you have lost your love and your passion
    Your heart and your existence
    Imitate your wretched doyens’ lot
Cast yourself into the gorge of unlife
Until your bones tower high and block the sun
And loom menacingly over your children

But hearken and heed my pleading words
Embrace and nourish your soul again
And step out of the deathly procession
It is not too late to give birth to yourself
To smell, see, hear, taste and sense
Life gladly radiating itself unto your frame
Welcome eternal love into your bosom
Do not contemn but admire and cherish
The sun warms you, the birds serenade you
Nature’s redolence fills you with passion
And together we can live in paradise

    There Rose
From underneath my window there rose
A bright bird that would heavenly compose
Melodies giving birth to a radiant star

Spirit winds approached sighing from afar
To witness the beauty of this delicate wonder
Careful not to tear and scatter it asunder

My smile and eyes soared with delight
For the loving warmth and light so bright
My soul overflowed with innocence and peace

And hoped the bird would never cease
The trees, too, awoke and listened
Releasing their leaves with dew glistened

To more closely enjoy the wondrous song
And feel its passionate love so strong
But we, mere men, never seem to realise

That our hardened hearts are of ice
With no laughter but cold and haughty mirth
Too blind to look at the window and the bird

    White Kolibri
    White kolibri slipping and sliding
Over wet pavement before my eyes
    Frantically flittering and gliding
Unable to take to the drenched skies

Pressed down and shackled to the earth
By blindness, fraud and heaven’s tears
Cut out of the belly of your spiritual birth
With the cruel knife of envious fears

This oppressive rain will cease nevermore
So let me clip your wings and give you arms
And we will embrace on love’s pleasing shore
And wander entwined along the world’s charms

    Shed your beautiful feathers cold
They are too pristine for this place
For it is listless and lifeless and old
To my longing eyes turn your face

Ascend above the clouds to the stars
Fear not the rain when you’re with me
But enjoy our love and forget the wars
And you will be my white kolibri

    The Belly of Saturday Night
The carpet crawls with dog hair and beer
The molten wax on the candle is highly suggestive
And these maudlin tunes are a bitch
Outside the dirty orange glow wrecks the world
And inside it’s just as depressing and cold
I got no money left for a hooker or a pizza
Only warm beer and cold feet
Toilet stenches peel away the paint
And that old meatloaf claimed the kitchen
The roof is leaking acid piss from the clouds
The windows are shattered and broken
But even the shitflies don’t want to come in
There’s an old body back in the alley
It must have been rotting there for over a month
Rats are sleeping in my pillow and couch
And they want me to leave them alone
So I stumble and look for my relief
In a torn 1995 playboy with sticky pictures
And I take my dirty cloth and start
    Jacking off mercilessly at candlelight
It’s me on my romantic high and mighty
But it keeps me grinding on and on
And as long as I can remember
To fall asleep on my stomach
    That’s all I’ll ever need

    Golden Wheel
    It happened like this:
There was no driver behind the wheel of the burning car.
At least, there was no life behind the wheel of the burning car.
The black hands of what once had been a human being were shielding a smouldering skull.
No one knew what had happened to that man - as a later autopsy would prove that this burned husk was indeed a man.
We only knew one thing when we saw that car roll down the slope of the hill, towards the children.
Lives would be lost in a tragic way.
The flames of the car lingered somewhat behind it like a flaming comet.
Phoenix wings spread out and searingly caressed the bystanders as it descended.
I wonder what they must have felt.
Was it a kiss from heaven?
Was it the sigh of a fallen angel that scorched their cheeks and faces?
    I couldn’t ask them.
    The children, they...
The inferno rolled into the children; there must have been seven or eight.
I couldn’t make out their exact number in the panic, in the flames... in that hell.
I tripped over my best friend’s tricycle, the blue one with the yellow seat that I cried over when my mommy wouldn’t buy it for me.
Even the tires were on fire like a beautiful golden disk that shone just for me.
And they were floating towards me.
There was a humming, droning sound in the air that I could hear over the screams and cries.
It was soft, but louder than the panic.
And one of the golden discs came right at me.
I could feel its warm glow pat my head and stroke my face.
And then it was really hot, but only just for a moment.
Only for a very short moment.
    Only...
Only for a kind of short eternity.

    I Wish I Had A Gun
    I wish I had a gun
So I could start killing people
    Not everyone, of course
    Just someone who’s bugging me
Even though I don’t know them and they don’t do nothing wrong
Or maybe pick off a kid
    Yeah
Because that’s the only way you’ll get someone to scream nowadays
And then I could put the hot barrel to my own head
And beautifully blow my brains out on the news
Just to end this shitstain of a life
And get sucked into the dirt of this little grey planet
    Yeah
    I wish I had a gun
    A big fucking gun

    You Got Reasons Enough
It’s those moments in the middle of the night
When you see your shadow on an unshaven wall
You notice you don’t look all that bad
If you look at that dark blot on the wall
    That you start to wonder
About what you have and what you are
    And what it’s all about
There might be a hot blonde purring in your bed
    Or on your lap
    Or between your legs
But still there’s that nagging fear
That not a thousand climaxes can wash away
It’ll be there until you pass out
    Or forget it
    For now
So tomorrow you can remember it
And start the whole shit up again
