Freemasonry is a different subculture with a different purpose. The same society which brands goths and emos as satanists have branded the freemasons as satanists, As I've pointed out before, if the society finds something which is not comprehensible to them, they will try to suppress. It's all up to those conspiracy theories which bought the fear in ppls mind about freemasons calling them a secret society bent on world domination. Actually if u check deeply the freemasonic concepts you will find it's a belief open to almost anyone. You should believe in a supreme being, u must be truthful to u'r country then u are eligible to be a freemason regardless of u'r religion.
